accommodations
Our 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin offers luxurious accommodations for up to 12 people in total. There are two king beds in separate bedrooms, one sofa bed in the living room, one futon in the game room, two full beds in a separate room, and one bunk bed with twin beds in the bunk room. The cabin also features one in-suite bathroom with shower and barrel sink, a full bathroom off the main hallway, and a third bathroom off the indoor pool room.

As our guest, you are welcome to free wifi brought to you by Xfinity. The router is located in the living room next to the main storage unit.
The wifi passcode is featured on a board in the living room. Additionally, a secure email is sent to each guest. If there are any issues with getting on the server, please let us know. If there is a challenge with the network, that may require a check with Xfinity. While, we will take care of this, in the event that you want to know any general questions around the wifi, this is the information for Xfinity.

ROKU TVs
Each room except the bathrooms, laundry room, and outdoor deck, have a SMART TV.
When you turn on the TV, please enter your check out date, so that the TV can wipe your credentials that you may enter.
These televisions are equipped with various apps that you as a guest are responsible for having a streaming subscription to. We do not provide the subscription membership.
All Smart TVs are in guest mode. Please keep all the remotes in a visible location.
KARAOKE
MACHINE
We use the JYX Karaoke Machine with Two Wireless Microphones, Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Bass/Treble Adjustment, PA System with Remote Control, LED Lights,Supports TF Card/USB, AUX IN, FM, REC,TWS for Party.
To help protect the microphones, we ask that you put a microphone cover over the mic when in use. There are a host of mic covers that can be found in the cabinet under the Black Bear Necessities Karaoke Bar Sign.

RECORD PLAYER
We use a Victrola Vintage 3-Speed Bluetooth Portable Suitcase Record Player with Built-in Speakers | Upgraded Turntable Audio Sound| Includes Extra Stylus | Turquoise, Model Number: VSC-550BT-TQ in the cabin.
We do not supply a vinyl record for guests. Guests can bring their own music, or tap into the bluetooth.
SMART SCHLAGE ENCODE LOCK
We want our guests to feel safe.
We are using a highly digital and secure lock. You will receive an email and text message with your digital code. It is important to not share this code with anyone.If there is an issue with the front door, you can enter the kitchen door with the same code. The pool room door also has the same code.

SELECT GAME MODE:
Press A button to select.
EXIT GAME MODE:
Press A button to select exit game mode.
[MENU]:press [MENU·PAUSE] button will show pause menu; [START
+COIN]:hold P1
start button and insert coin will exit game.
AUTO EXIT:
Press A button to select. AFTER 3 MINUTES/will exit game if no playing over 3
minutes;
OFF/this function will be closed.

INSTRUCTIONS
The power on switch is on the air hockey table closest to the wall. It has to be turned on, in order to be played. The air hockey table may be unplugged, in which case you have to plug it in.
To keep score, there is a START / STOP button on the score board. You press that button to start the score keeping during your game.
The game ends when a player gets 7 goals.
The Pool
Our pool is the heart of enjoyment for children and adults. Do not eat food in the pool, as it will mess up the chemical balance of the pool. If you drop something in the pool, please pick it up and put it in the trash.
PROJECTOR
THIS HAS A REMOTE, BUT CAN AND NEEDS TO BE USED WITH A SMART DEVICE TO STREAM AND PROJECT USING THE BLUETOOTH
You can use our wifi in the pool room to watch your favorite movies and more. There is a drop down projector screen, but you likely can just project onto the wall with a better effect.
It's also great at night, and better to see on the wall.
Warm Tips for You:

Please make sure that both the projector and your phone are connected to the same WiFi of your home;

Please keep the projector on the "waiting for projection" page before using the mobile phone to project the screen!

Open the screen mirroring function of the mobile phone and select the corresponding projector model to connect.

Due to HDCP copyright issues, Netflix / Disney / Hulu / Amazon prime prohibits playing movies directly from most projectors on the market, so when you need to watch Netflix/ Hulu/ Disney, and so on these video sites, the manufacturer recommends the use of an Amazon Fire TV Stick/ Roku/ Chromecast to connect to the projector. <Guests can find this in the remote control holder as of 10.9.2023>

Our MINISPLIT
Our pool room is equipped with a DAIKIN 18,000 BTU 17 SEER Wall-Mounted Ductless Mini-Split A/C unit. This mini split also has a built in dehumidifier. Please do not touch the remote which is on the wall. If there is a lot of condensation, please contact your host. The room temperature should be the same as the pool temperature, which sits at 82 degrees Fahrenheit. When the room temperature and the pool temperature are not aligned, this causes a build up of moisture in the room. Please use the screen to the sliding door if you want to ensure that there is air circulating through the pool room. Also you can use the exhaust fan in the room. Instructions on the exhaust fan for the pool room are listed below separately.

Be careful opening up the hot tub. You want to make sure your fingers are not in the corners of the lid, which folds out.
